Kindergarten Graduation

I had the honor of attending the graduation of Christian & Andres, 2 children I've known since my first trip to Sambo. While waiting for the ceremony to begin I couldn't help but take notice to the decorations in the room. A silhouette of a boy in graduation attire on his knees praying. My thought... "Wow, I'm definitely not in the USA."
The ceremony began with Santos Esteban (school ministry leader) leading in prayer, another moment of joy in my eyes realizing the opportunity ahead of us. An opportunity to have access to every classroom in Sambo Creek. The next school year will be an exciting one.

How can I not want to be a part of a ministry that has so much opportunity to touch the lives of so many children. Children that have touched places of my heart I did not know existed, even as a mom.
These children and I have nothing more than actions and love to share because we do not speak the same language. God gave me this so I could learn an unknown love I had inside of me. This is an example of how we want to help others, but in reality, they are the ones really helping us!
Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.
