Introduced to hunger, her name is Melisa.
The poverty of the community God sent me to was obvious from my first trip. But the depth of it never quite hit me until this visit in November of 2014. My face had become familar to many, which also meant to them the American will help. I met Melisa on this trip. A young girl who obviously cared for her sister as well. Both dirty and hungry.
