Fingerprints of Hope Inc.

Non-Profit Organization

One person can't help everyone, But everyone can help someone.

Fingerprints of Hope is an international collaboration of people dedicated to the children and families of Honduras. Providing ministry opportunities in Sambo Creek, Belfate,  Por Venir, and Cuyalapa, Atlantida Honduras. Fingerprints of Hope also acts as a sending agent for individuals interested in Missionary work in Honduras. We're here to help open doors to anyone interested in long or short term missionary opportunities in Honduras.

We have begun with family sponsorship programs which have been designed to create hand up opportunities for people and families already doing their best in their family situations. Offering additional educational opportunities as well as supplying some of the daily needs of people wanting to make a difference in their families and communities.

By taking steps of pure Faith, Fingerprints of Hope is starting from nothing more than the desires of the hearts of a few. Building a foundation formed by God, to prayerfully make the lives of others resemble Him more.

Jesus said “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” (Matthew 9:37-38)

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

Our Mission

Fingerprints of Hope is dedicated to bringing more Christ like opportunities to the mission field In Houduras. We believe it's about a hand up, not a hand out. We want to help children and families who want to help themselves despite the struggling efforts of the poor economy and conditions around them.

Currently we are starting by gaining sponsors for a few select families who do the most with their situations as is. We have started a sponsorship program that will send these selected individuals to gain additional education with English Classes. Since Honduras is a developing country that has a high influence of foreign travelers for business and pleasure reasons. The ability to learn and speak English will greatly increase employment opportunities for these families that are willing to work. Each family has been teamed up with another family member to help build family bond and give favorable study habits.

Second most goal would be to bring a Christ centered feeding program to the children of Sambo Creek, Honduras. This program will provide a balanced meal that will include fruits & vegetables daily. We will be establishing a volunteer program for families in the community that want to help. The program will be open to any children of Sambo Creek that are not being provided for at home.

Mark 9:37

Whoever welcomes a child like this in My name welcomes Me; and whoever welcomes Me is welcoming not Me, but the One who sent Me.

Proverbs 22:6

Teach a child how to follow the right way; even when he is old, he will stay on course.

Matthew 10:42  And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.

Why we're doing this:

One person can't help everyone, But everyone can help someone.

July 27, 2013, I, Cathy Lee Hogan made my first trip to Sambo Creek, Honduras. A trip that changed my life and heart forever.

Three years and seven trips later it's my goal to help start an organization that will nuture the children in Sambo Creek with food, fellowship and fun. A Christ centered program that will help raise up this next generation into God loving people. A generation that will learn their God given talents as well as to appreciate the beautiful place God gave them as home.

Proverbs 31:20

She reaches out to the poor and extends mercy to those in need.
